What is pipe bending?

What is pipe bending?

Pipe bending is a mechanical treatment process that consists in plastically deforming a pipe in such a way as to obtain the required shape. The bending of steel pipes and profiles can be carried out in two ways: cold and hot, with cold bending being the simpler process. Hot bending of pipes and profiles refers to the service of bending pipes with relatively large diameters. This way unsightly deformations of pipes and profiles are avoided.

The bending process is a simple process, but nowadays there are more possibilities to bend material precisely and faster. We are, of course, talking about modern CNC bending machines. Production using CNC mandrel bending machines is faster, more accurate, repeatable, precise and cost-effective. In our plant, we use computer-controlled bending machines to bend steel pipes and profiles. The tube and profile parts we produce are free of deformations, which very often occur as a result of bending. For this reason, our 2D and 3D bending services are widely used in the rehabilitation and medical industries.
