What is a CNC milling machine used for?

A CNC milling machine is used for machining of flat and shaped surfaces. It is designed to work in materials such as wood, plastics, composites, aluminium or light metal alloys. CNC milling machine is a machine tool whose work is controlled by a computer, i.e. a microcomputer integrated with the system takes over all the control and regulation functions of our machine. The programme that is downloaded into the machine s computer contains the most important technical data, such as cutting speed, depth, feed rate and number of tool passes.

Milling with a machine tool has many advantages, including the possibility of shaping planes, grooves or even serrations. This is why these machines are very widely used in many areas of industry, for example in the automotive or furniture sectors. CNC milling machines are also widely used in metalworking shops because of their efficiency, quality and repeatability.

There are several types of CNC milling machines, but in our plant we use a Chiron 23 model FZ 18L vertical machining centre from the High Speed series for CNC milling. With this solution we have greater possibilities of processing workpieces with dimensions of 400x400x2000 mm. On the other hand, smaller workpieces and details are made on machines from the Brother TC-32A and Chiron FZ12 series designed for large batches. Our CNC milling services are fast, efficient, high quality, precise and competitive in terms of price. Therefore, we encourage companies from various industries in Poland and abroad to learn about our CNC milling offer by visiting our website and in our plant in Strzelce Krajeńskie at ul. Cmentarna 4.
